No. Awareness training supports recognition and personal safety. Emergency response training develops the coordinated decisions and actions required from people with defined emergency roles.
02Do participants enter an ammonia hot zone?

Not unless a separately planned, risk-assessed and properly resourced specialist activity is agreed. Most facilities gain greater value by first verifying alarms, command, communications, accountability, evacuation and emergency services interface.
03Can you run an ammonia emergency exercise at our site?

Yes. Exercises can be desktop, functional or field based, with observers, injects, debriefing and an improvement report.
04Should emergency services be involved?

Where practical, liaison or participation can improve shared understanding. Their involvement should be arranged early and must not be assumed.
